PHOTO RESTORATION AND COLOURING
The original photograph (taken in the early 1920s) has lost much of its original clarity and in addition, has been severely damaged. By careful and time consuming methods, the creases on the original image have been removed and the results can be seen on the left.
A lot will depend on the quality of the original photograph - if it is severely faded or torn, then restoration might not be possible.

The second photograph you see here was taken in 1954 (a fact I am aware of as the photograph is of me. Fortunately, the photograph has been well
preserved and has not needed any restoration. Here, I have introduced colour back into the image - again a lengthy process and plenty of guesswork as to the original colours and skin tones.
Please contact me if you would like me to take a look at any photographs you have which might be in need of restoration
